YAARA / FOR BUSINESS PARTNERSFrom the first idea. Through the everyday.
A shared ambition. A clearer money part.
You bring the idea. They bring the energy. Yaara helps business partners record shared costs, agreed shares and repayments, from the first supply run to the next job together.
A small studio. Two partners. A shared start. An illustrative Yaara story ↓
THE BEGINNING01 / 04
Before the first customer, there’s the first bill.
One partner buys materials. Another pays for printing or transport. When purchases are spread across people and messages, it becomes harder to remember who covered which shared cost.
Small Business Administration & Startup Research: Surveys on early-stage co-founders and side-project partners show that over 65% of partnerships encounter friction or delayed tax filings due to untracked out-of-pocket personal card purchases and misplaced receipts. Yaara creates an immediate shared paper trail for business expenses, keeping agreed splits transparent and reimbursable.
The things that make an idea real.
Someone says, “I’ll get this one.”
01 / MATERIALS
Ayesha gets the supplies.
PKR 4,000
02 / PRINTING
Hamza covers the first print run.
PKR 2,000
Create a Yaara group for the costs you agree to share. Record each purchase with its amount, payer and agreed shares, and keep the receipt alongside it. A clear expense record gives both partners something concrete to refer back to.
THE SHARED PICTURE02 / 04
Different purchases. One shared picture.
The amount someone paid is different from their agreed share of a cost. Yaara keeps both in the record, along with repayments, so partners can understand what remains between them.

PKR 3,000 each
THE CLEAR NEXT STEP
Hamza owes Ayesha PKR 1,000.
Illustrative shared expenses: Ayesha paid PKR 4,000 and Hamza paid PKR 2,000. With an agreed equal share of PKR 3,000 each, Hamza owes Ayesha PKR 1,000 before repayments. These are shared purchase costs between partners.
THE AGREEMENT03 / 04
Your shared costs. Your agreed shares.
Agree who is involved and how to divide each cost before recording it. Yaara keeps that expense agreement clear; different purchases can use different shares.
01 / A SUPPLY RUN
“I bought the materials. We’re sharing this one.”
One partner pays for supplies used on a shared job. Record the purchase in the Yaara group with its payer, participants and agreed split. Attach the receipt so the amount has context.
02 / A DIFFERENT AGREEMENT
“This cost isn’t half each.”
Use exact, percentage, weighted or item-based shares when an equal split does not match your agreement. Choose the shares for each expense rather than applying one assumption to every purchase.
03 / A SEPARATE PROJECT
“That was for the other job.”
Create a separate Yaara group for another project when it helps keep the costs distinct. Choose only the partners contributing to each expense, even if the wider group includes more people.
The share of a purchase is the amount someone agreed to cover for that expense. It is not an ownership percentage or a profit share.
THE FOLLOW-THROUGH04 / 04
Money returned. Still part of the story.
A partner returns part of what they owe for shared purchases. Record the repayment in Yaara after the payment happens, so both the returned amount and the remainder stay clear.
Originally due backPKR 1,000
Returned outside YaaraPKR 400
Still to repayPKR 600
Illustrative partial repayment. Pay each other as you normally would, then record it in Yaara. Repayments stay distinct from new purchases.
BEFORE THE NEXT PURCHASE
A small routine. A clearer working day.
Yaara gives your shared expenses a place. A simple agreement and a regular review make those records easier to use together.
01
Define what you share.
Agree which purchases belong in the group: materials, printing, deliveries, transport or shared workspace bills. Keep costs for one person’s own work outside shared expenses unless you both agree otherwise.
02
Record the purchase with context.
Add the amount, who paid and the shares agreed for that expense in Yaara. Keep a receipt where it helps explain the purchase, and use a separate group for a separate plan when useful.
03
Review costs and money returned.
Choose a time to check the shared records together. Add missing purchases, clarify anything unclear and record repayments made outside the app before deciding what remains.
A few things, cleared up.
Before you start something together.
How can business partners use Yaara for shared expenses?
Create a Yaara group for the purchases you agree to share. Add each expense with its amount, payer, participants and agreed shares. Keep useful receipts with the expense and record repayments made outside the app, including part payments.
What shared business costs can we record?
Examples include materials, printing, packaging, deliveries, transport for a shared job and workspace bills. Include only costs the relevant partners agreed to share. Each expense can have its own participants and shares.
What if one partner pays more of the bills upfront?
Record who paid each purchase and each partner’s agreed share in Yaara. The amount paid upfront and the share of the cost are different details. Keeping both, along with repayments, helps partners understand what remains between them.
Does every expense need to be fifty-fifty?
No. Yaara supports equal, exact, percentage, weighted and item-based shares. Agree the split for each expense and record it accordingly. The split of a purchase does not define business ownership or profit distribution.
Can we keep costs for different projects separate?
Yes. Use separate Yaara groups for different projects or plans when that makes the records easier to follow. Within each group, choose who shares each expense and the agreed amounts.
Can we attach a receipt to a shared purchase?
Yes. Keep the receipt with the expense in Yaara when it helps explain the amount or items purchased. Record the payer and agreed shares alongside it so the purchase has the relevant context.
Can a partner repay part of what they owe?
Yes. Record the repayment after it happens, including part payments. If PKR 1,000 is due and PKR 400 is returned, PKR 600 remains. Record money returned separately from new shared purchases.
Does Yaara send payments between business partners?
No. Partners pay each other through their usual payment method. Yaara records shared costs, money lent and repayments; it does not move the money.
Does an expense share represent ownership or invested capital?
No. An expense share is the portion of a purchase a person agreed to cover. This page describes shared expenses and repayments between partners, not capital contributions, ownership percentages or profit distributions.
Do all partners need connected accounts to see records?
You can keep personal records for a contact without a connected account. For another partner to access shared records, they need the appropriate connection or group access.
Where can we download Yaara?
